Not the people you lead.
Not the people who come to you for guidance.
Not the ones who admire you from afar.
I mean… who do you really talk to?
Who hears the unfiltered version of your thoughts?
Who knows the weight you carry—not just the victories, but the doubts, the frustrations, the moments when you wonder if you’re even on the right path?
Because no matter how strong you are… no matter how many battles you’ve fought… everyone needs a confidant.
Not an audience. Not a fan. A true confidant.
Someone who holds space for you—not because they need something from you, but because they see you.
Someone who doesn’t flinch at your truth.
Someone who won’t let you lie to yourself, but also won’t let you tear yourself down.
Someone who reminds you who you are when you forget.
Because the truth is—leaders get lonely.
High performers can get trapped in their own minds.
The ones who carry others often feel like they have no one to carry them.
And that’s when the real danger sets in.
When you start keeping everything inside.
When you start convincing yourself you have to figure it all out alone.
When you start believing that because you’re strong, you don’t need support.
That’s how great leaders fall. Not because they aren’t capable—but because they didn’t have a place to put what they were carrying.
So today, I ask myself… who do I talk to?
And I ask you the same.
Who truly knows you?
Who is your confidant?
And if you don’t have one… what would change in your life if you did?
If this hit home, let’s talk. Drop a 🔥 if you know exactly what I mean.
